Event Description
After a two-year hiatus, the legendary Los Angeles Times Festival of Books is back this year on the USC campus – Saturday, April 23, and Sunday, April 24
10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Saturday
10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Sunday
The IWOSC booth is once again conveniently located at the hub of activity on the main concourse.
As always, we’re looking for IWOSC members to volunteer for a two hour shift, between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and/or between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
To sign up, email Lyn Corum at lyncorum at gmail.com with your preferred time(s) and day(s). Time slots go quickly, so act now!
You will have a chance to meet and greet fellow writers and book lovers from all over the globe. What’s more, if you have a book to promote, you will be able to spread the word at the same time you are touting IWOSC’s benefits. You might also want to explore the multitudes of booths and attend a variety of exciting programs located around the campus.
Note: We offer this benefit to our members at no charge, and you must be a member in good standing to take a shift. For those of you who are not yet members or haven’t renewed, this is a good time to (re)activate your membership quickly and easily at IWOSC.org.
For more information, plus a map showing the location of the Festival and how to get tickets for indoor events, visit https://events.latimes.com/festivalofbooks/.
This is one of our most exciting events of the year. We look forward to seeing you there!
Covid-19 guidance and protocols will be monitored as noted by the LA Times and USC.
