In recent years, AI has been gaining a lot of attention in the writing industry. This event explores the many facets of AI and its impact on writing. To be addressed:
- Why AI is getting so much attention lately: We will discuss the reasons why AI has become a hot topic in the writing community and explore the potential implications for writers.
- Demonstrations of some AI programs especially for writers: We will showcase some of the latest AI programs that have been designed specifically for writers and demonstrate how they can be used to enhance your writing.
- The advantages of using AI in your writing: We will explore the various benefits that AI can offer to writers, such as improving productivity, enhancing creativity, and generating titles and outlines.
- The practical and legal challenges of using AI: We will discuss the practical and legal challenges that come with using AI in writing, including copyright issues, data privacy concerns, and ethical considerations.
- Our best advice for the present and answers to your questions: IWOSC’s President, Gary Young, and Vice-President, Steven Sanchez, will share their expertise and provide practical advice on how to navigate the challenges and opportunities presented by AI. They will also be available to answer any questions you may have.
We’ll also include a presentation of an AI platform, given by Carol J. Amato.
Carol J. Amato is an author, editor, and nonfiction book coach. To date, she has published twenty-nine books and around two hundred articles in national magazines. She has also edited for major publishers and several magazines and newsletters. As a nonfiction book coach, Carol shows experts how to write and publish books based on their expertise so they can be the go-to people in their industries, attract a higher level of clients, and make more money.
